Status:
Bricked device because flashing firmware failure.

Equipment:
  1. Bricked Edision Proton T265 LED DVB-T2 receiver
  2. Firmware file from edision support page
  3. esp32 or another mcu with SPI, operating voltage 3.3V
  4. SD-card breakout modul and SD-card with the firmware file
  5. Adapter for flashing the Winbond 25Q32FVSIG chip
  6. Arduino IDE
  7. Arduino flashing software

Unbrick Edision Proton T265 LED - Hints

  1. Be carefull using a mcu working with 5V (i.e. Raspberry, UNO...).
  2. Flashing with 5V will destroy the Winbond chip.
  3. Flashing with installed Winbond chip wasn't tested successfully. Maybe the first flashing software version was buggy. It's your choice to test flashing with installed Winbond chip, without adapter.
  4. Flashing with unsoldered Winbond chip and adapter was tested successfully.
